Carry That Weight - Flotilla De Barge

from Abbey Road by The Beatles Complete On Ukulele

supported by

It was all falling apart.

John hated Paul. Paul was exasperated with John. George wanted the next part of his life to begin and Ringo wanted a holiday.

Paul in good Catholic tradition felt guilty.
Why was it all falling apart?
Was it him?

He knew that the weight of keeping it all together since Brian Epstien had died was down to him and so he wrote his hymn to himself.

The Ukulele Version is a more jolly affair. The great Flotilla DeBarge knows not guilt or shame or any negative emotions whatsoever. All she is is pure joy wherever she goes. Do you have a weight on your shoulder? No prob – Flo will help you out.
